Man Without Arms, Feeds Paralyzed Mother Using His Mouth

These days, we usually find articles about how parents and their children love each other that they are willing to sacrifice for them. This story is no different, but will surely melt your heart. Medical conditions like paralysis can really be very difficult to handle, not only for the person suffering from it, but for people who take care of them. Relatives of these patients usually take turns helping their loved one cope with everyday life. But this man is extraordinary, aside from his mom having paralysis, he's the only one taking care of her - and he has no arms!

Doctors and health care professionals have tried so hard to revive his arms, but nothing worked. Meet forty-eight year old Chen Xinyin who lost his arms after being electrocuted at a young age of 7. But still, he tries his best and works so hard for his family. He was 20 when his father died. At that point, Chen learned how to live a life without his arms.

Medical experts and professional can't treat his mom as she gets sicket every day. But, his mother is suffering from paralysis and Chen found it so hard to earn money. When someone suggested about begging though, he only replied: “I have no arms but I have good feet. I can’t go make that sort of money.”

He may have lost his arms, but he used all other parts of his body to live normally. He learned how to cook, weave baskets for a living and tend to their farm.

He resides at Chonqing in China where he had to take care of his 91-year-old mother. A real tearjerker is that he had to use his mouth, with the spoon between his teeth, just to feed his mother.

For Chen and his mother, the winter is so hard. He finds it uncomfortable to put his socks on. Because he had to do everything using his feet, he has some scratch marks and scars on his foot. That is when he used a knife to cook food for his mother. See, the sacrifice he had to undergo just for the love of his parent?

He tries to maneuver his body in such a way that it would enable him to live normally for the lack of arms. He's done a remarkable job, don't you think?
