Pimple Extraction Operation Shared by Doctor on Instagram - This is Freaky, Find Out Why it's an Instant Hit!

Everybody knows that pimples are one of the toughest problems one has to encounter in the course of one's life. They are problems that sometimes rob us of our confidence, and in worst cases, even self respect, since pimples are deformities in the skin that society deems to be "undesirable." Having them on one's face (and/or body) is considered nasty and disturbing. 

What is more dreaded, aside from having pimples, is, of course, having to pop them. Although we are all aware that one who has had pimple(s) in his/her life is guilty of such an act.

Dermatologist for skin care in California documented each of the pimple-popping sessions she has conducted with her patients. This documentation lead to an archive of videos. Later on, these videos were shared by the said dermatologist on the internet. What is surprising is that they instantly became viral. 

Dr. Sandra Lee began posting the said videos on Instagram. These videos, as mentioned, became an instant hit and she, herself, became an instant internet-celebrity. Upon the posting of the videos, she began fathering more than 50,000 Instagram followers. When she posted the videos on YouTube, the same phenomenon occured. Her YouTube Channel began to gather a following of more than 60,000 and her videos have at least 350,000 views since its posting.

Dr. Lee clarifies, however, that given the highly graphic nature of the videos, the anonymity of her patients were maintained. According to her, the purpose of posting such videos is to show the human aspect of such procedures and this is achieved by sharing the stories behind them.
